Kakariki Feather Necklace

Little chatterboxes of the NZ forest, and with bright emerald plumage, the Kakariki parrot is a stand out New Zealand native bird.  Kakariki literally means `small bird' in Te Reo, and is also the word for the colour green. 

Sterling silver feather (3.5cm long), hand painted with porcelain paint in a montage of greens.  Suspended from a 45cm sterling silver chain, with a 5cm extender.
