LIZ MCAULIFFE, HOKIANGA. In her sculpture practice Liz is attracted to and intrigued by nature and works with the minutiae found there, by up-scaling these minutiae she is inviting the viewer to examine their relationship with the objects she chooses to magnify and in being 'life-size', they demand a conversation of equal standing with the viewer.Her aim is to give a sensual experience as well as a visual one, so form, surface and shadow are an integral part of her works. With equal footing being given to both sculpture and painting, Liz's work often sits closely at the intersection between 2D and 3D.

Working with Helen at Inc Store is always a great pleasure, she takes such joy in her stock and works really hard to create unique displays within the store. From an artists point of view, Helen is so pro active, in sourcing her artists and in marketing on Social media. She takes genuine pleasure in the process of getting artworks to customers.
